R.O.C.K. CLUB
R.(reaching) O.(our) C.(communities) K.(kids)!
The goal of our Youth Program is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
We take having FUN, "seriously"! Our club meetings are so exciting that kids can't wait to come back for more! But fun is only the beginning. While kids are having fun, they are learning and growing also. They participate in games and activities that train their bodies. They learn Bible verses and spiritual truths that expand their minds, too. They encounter life lessons that feed their souls - from caring, trained leaders that invest their time, love and wisdom.
WE HAVE 7 INDIVIDUAL CLASSROOM SETTINGS.
THEY ARE:
"Lil' Sprouts": For children, 2 and 3 years old.
"Hippity Hoppers": For children, 4 and 5 and 6 years old.
"Cookie Munchers": For children, 1st and 2nd grade.
BOYS: For BOYS, 3rd - 6th grade.
"God's Girls": For GIRLS, 3rd - 6th grade.
"Faith Finders": For 7th and 8th grade.
TEENS: For 9th through 12th grade.
WE HAVE 3 - 25 MINUTE CLASSES EACH EVENING. THEY ARE:
GAME TIME: 25 Minutes of non-stop high energy competition on
a 24 foot game circle.
HANDBOOK TIME: 25 Minutes that we emphasize memorization
and understanding key Bible verses. We use the best
achievement-oriented curriculum materials.
COUNCIL TIME: for 25 Minutes the class gathers for a Bible message. During
this time we sing songs, announce up-coming events and pass out their "shares".
We have 34 trained adult leaders that work in our Youth Club program.
Our club meets on Wednesday Nights, beginning at 6:25 P.M. and ends at 8:00 P.M.
PARENTS: While your children are enjoying themselves in our Christian Education Building, the pastor and congregation of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church invites you to join them in the auditorium of the main church building for teaching and preaching from God's Word!
We have transportation available, if needed. Children under 5 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult. Also, children under 5 years of age cannot ride the church vans.
